What a wonderful giveaway. and it ends on my birthday! Yesterday my friend posted pictures from China – she’s there for the celebration. Because Facebook isn’t allowed there she had to wait until she got to Thailand. Such beautiful images.

I subscribed to the mala market newsletter.

      Hi Catherine,
Thanks for your purchasing the book and I’m sorry to hear you come across a lot of troubles downloading it.
I just shared another downloading link via Google drive. I hope you won’t come across any issues this time.
Let me know if you can download the book this time or need further help. Hope you have a great day!

Yes, frustrating. Not all of us are on Facebook, Instagram, or want or need a Market newsletter. I “get” why this is desirable for Omnivore’s Cookbook, it has to do with economics. And I am a HUGE fan of the website. I have cooked a number of dishes from the recipes and they are all excellent. But the whole social media thing really annoys me. I guess that we just have to be satisfied with all the “good stuff” that we do get! Cheers!

Although I am actually living in Chengdu right now and have access to all of the wonderful fresh ingredients, I am utilizing your site and cookbook to learn how to cook authentic cuisine…lol. I am subscribing and have entered the contests because once I return home to the U.S., I’ll need a source for my now favorite Chinese dishes….yeah The Mala Market! I’ve followed the FB and Instagram directions for entering all of the contests via my McDowells Asia Facebook page where I’m photo-journaling my time here! Learning how to stock my market has even helped improve my Chinese and ability to identify flavors and dishes when I’m dining out! Thanks a lot!

Followed Omnivore’s Cookbook on FaceBook too! I love to cook Asian food and my son just asked if we could start eating healthier. I’m not quite sure it’s my Asian food that’s unhealthy. It’s more likely the Latin food he loves but I’ve found some fantastic recipes on your site(s) so far.

    Hiiiiiii!

My husband absolutely LOVES chinese food, and this kit would be perfect for me to surprise him with. He loves my stir fry and fried rice, but having this complete kit would literally make his year. I would love to do an authentic meal for him one day, one thats not watered down because its been passed around by so many people with different ideas on how to make something. Having an authentic organic ORIGINAL root recipe is an absolute must for me with Chinese cooking, because it revolves around family and love and the love for cooking, it just brings everyone together. And we are all about that! 🙂

I have gone and signed up for their newsletter. Not having a local Oriental market is annoying, and one of the things I didn’t take into consideration when I moved to NC from NJ, where we could find everything. I look forward to seeing what they have to offer.

Subscribed to both the Omnivore’s Cookbook and the Mala Project newsletters! Looking forward to trying more delicious recipes from Maggie and to shop authentic Chinese cooking ingredients from Mala. We recently move to the Southwest corner of Colorado and it’s been a challenge to find Chinese ingredients in this part of the world.
